Fleur Green is a classically trained pianist, violinist, percussionist and singer/songwriter.
A former student of the Godmother of Marimba, Keiko Abe in Tokyo, she has a deep love of story telling that was passed on by her teachers and upbringing.
She and The Keepers, Gerard Spalding and Felicity Freeman, have just recorded their first album “When the Tide Rushes In”.
Fleur’s training as a classical percussionist is evident in her unique arrangements and live performance in which she self accompanies her songs with 4-mallet vibraphone technique, as well as piano accompaniments and colourful percussive additions.
She is passionate about writing, recording and performing original songs, the multi instrumental life, and writing candid songs that address issues such as mental health, love and loss.
Fleur is also a casual percussionist with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, a member of The Adam Page Ensemble and a session musician.
She lives in Adelaide, a city that she loves.
